With the development of entrepreneurship ecosystem in our country, consultancy services have increased rapidly in recent years.

EU Framework Programs (H2020-SME Instrument)

The European Union Framework Programs (EU FP) is the structure of the Union Program for the harmonization of Europe's science and technology policies and practices. The first was launched in 1984, the highest budget bears the distinction of being the world's civilian research programs. The Framework Programs are carried out between the EU Member States and the Asiatic Countries in order to strengthen European research and technology development capacity and to promote university-industry collaboration. The National Coordination of Horizon 2020 in Turkey is carried out by TUBITAK. Horizon 2020, the European Union's new term Research and Innovation Framework Program, have passed a budget of around 80 billion Euros during the period between 2014-2020.

The SME Instrument Program within H2020's sub-programs; R&D and innovation have highly competitive threshold for SMEs in order to penetrate into international markets. SMEs who want to develop new product-process-technologies and want to increase their level of competitiveness can benefit from this program. The SME Inst. program consists of three phases. Conceptual feasibility studies are supported in the first phase. Demonstration and market application studies in phase 2 and commercialization studies in phase 3 are supported. The amount of support in Phase 1 is fixed at 50 thousand euros and in Phase 2 it is 70% + 25% of indirect costs. In Phase 2, the contribution of the European Commission is at least 500 thousand euros and at most 2.5 million euros.

Between the years 2014-2018 the project has received the support of only 25 applicants from Turkey. Six of the supported projects were prepared by E-CO.

E-CO is one of the few companies that are accredited by TÜBİTAK under the SME Inst and FTI Programs. According to 2014-2018 statistics overall success rate of Turkey was realized as 2.9%. The success rate of our company is 24%.
